Women of Faith and Hope, Inc., will hold an event from 2 to 7 p.m., July 13, at The Salvation Army in Philadelphia. There will be a DJ, a photographer and a breast surgeon to discuss issues and answer questions, a spoken word presentation, nutrition information and exercise information, as well as food and gifts for survivors.

Pink Party founder Shatawn Mims says, “The nature of our event is invitation of women who are mainly breast cancer survivors and their families; also women at risk (not diagnosed with breast cancer) to come together to celebrate each other.”
